this is one of my favorite quotes ever! and isn't the picture precious? but this quote definitely makes sense to me. this is something that i have learned in my terribly long life of twenty years (note the sarcasm). but really. everything in my life that has been worth learning and living for has been something i've gained from a journey. the goal is always important, but make sure that you let yourself enjoy the journey. not all journey's are pleasant. absolutely not. but if you can find one thing to be grateful for, feel grateful for the experience those painful journeys give you. the things that we learn the hardest ways will be the lessons we will never forget.

the last couple weeks have been interesting.

first i got to take pictures of some of my favorite guys in the world.

and of course being the clumsy fool i am...

i fell on barbed wire.

i have a serious talent for idiotic things like this.

i understand this is a super unattractive picture.

that's kind of the point folks.

but i'm also super domestic and make food.

like homemade rolls and chicken rice soup.

so delicious.

i also made homemade enchilada soup.

but i'm challenged and forgot to take a picture.

i also made this super attractive necklace...out of a shirt.

this man is so inspiring. i found this video through good old fb. someone had posted it on another friend's wall, and being the fb stalker that i am, watched it. how can you watch this and not want to be a better person. this man has lost so much and you can tell he loves life all the more becuaase of it. i think we could all do better at being a little bit more like this man.

hello. remember when i didn't want to go back to school? yeah well i didn't, but guess what. i am so glad i did!!! because i have awesomesauce roommates. and i love seeing old friends.


today my friends and i went to the park and layed out to get a little color cuz it was in the 70's today. and we played soccer. and then we went to a resturaunt called Fong's. a yummy chinese place. with the BEST egg rolls ever. and now i'm watching no reservations with my roommies. pictures will come soon!



also i follow this awesome blog! and she's having a give away. she makes adorable headbands. i love them cuz they're based on characters in books. and we all now how much i love my books!
